Windows 09 hair color orange error again

I think 09 hair color orange error has been happening since 1.0, around in July 2024, and the simplest way to fix it is to make a new custom profile that doesn't use that hair color. https://community.thefunpimps.com/threads/i-need-help-with-my-server.43075/#post-594997
I haven't seen that error message for a while, but I found the same alert several days ago.
The update announcement for 2.2 said this warning the message about player hair color would be removed, but I didn't remember how I fixed this error on my server.
Is it the only way to ask the client player who may be using that colour to create new profile? Or is it possible to identify which player is causing the error from server log files?
 
This usually happens because people have obsolete profile data from old builds. They need to wipe every major update. This is covered in the Pinned announcement that gets posted with a major release. It is not currently up, but here are the instructions.

Clearing Out Game Data before installing a different Alpha​

  • Start the game from your library,
  • Select "show game launcher",
  • Click in the "tools" tab,
  • Click on "clean game files" and check all circles,
  • Click "Clean",
  • Right-click on the game listing in Steam.,
  • Expand "Manage", and choose "Browse local files".,
  • If it exists, delete the folder called "Mods" (Make a backup if you want to save them).
Note that the Mods folder may exist both in the game client folder, and in %appdata%\7DaysToDie
Once cleanup is finished, validate the game client files a few times.
 
Thanks for your reply. To cut to the chase, it seems I have no choice but to ask everyone to delete the old data themselves.
