What exactly is the VIKINGS MOD?
The Vikings Mod is a massive overhaul for 7 Days to Die.
You play as a survivor from the year 2026 who, together with your friends, was involved in a terrible car accident.
All of your friends died in the crash - only you open your eyes again… but not in your own time.

You wake up in the year 845, weak, disoriented, and barely alive. From this moment on, survival becomes your only purpose.
You must learn to live in the brutal world of the Viking Age, adapt to ancient traditions, and fight under the watchful eyes of the gods.

And unlike the original game, you won’t be fighting zombies.
In this world, your enemies are diseased Vikings, warriors driven mad and corrupted by a mysterious plague spreading across the land. They are faster, more aggressive, and far more unpredictable than anything you’ve faced before - and they will stop at nothing to tear you down.

You will experience 7 Days to Die in a completely new way.

As you progress, you follow in the footsteps of the legendary Lodbrok clan, uncovering their stories, their battles, and their legacy. Your journey will shape you into a true warrior - stronger, wiser, and closer to the gods.

Your ultimate goal is to rise in power and become as mighty as Odin himself. Only then will you be ready for the final challenge:
a boss battle against Fenrir, the monstrous wolf of the saga.

Defeat him, and your destiny is sealed - from that moment on, you will rule the land as a true Viking legend.

The Vikings Mod is a full massive overhaul of 7 Days to Die.
Nearly every part of the original game has been redesigned, expanded, or completely replaced.

-Blocks occasionally turn invisible
Some world blocks may temporarily disappear or fail to render.

-WRN Spawn VM_IVAR_01 can’t walk on block sleeperIdle 24314 with walkType 21
A pathfinding issue where a specific entity cannot navigate certain block types.

-Animals get stuck on decorative objects
Wildlife may become trapped on certain deco meshes.

-Duplicate item output
In rare cases, items may appear twice.

-Backpack icons overlap
Inventory icons may visually overlap or clip.

-Wandering hordes at high Game Stage may include vanilla zombies
At very late game stages, vanilla zombies may appear unintentionally.

-Horse animation stuck — game restart required
Horse animations may freeze and require a full game restart.

-WRN Entity block on pos 1865, 17, 908 not found!
A warning indicating a missing or unloaded block at a specific world position.

-Blurry textures on vanilla assets when VRAM is below 8 GB
Low VRAM can cause texture downscaling and blurriness.
F1 fix command: gfx st budget 0

Install / Usage Instructions
INSTALLATION
Extract the ZIP file.

After extracting, take the included “Mods” folder and place it into one of the following locations.
If a Mods folder already exists there, you may replace it with the new one from the ZIP.

• AppData: C:\Users<Name>\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Mods
OR
• Steam installation: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods

IMPORTANT: The folder “0_TFP_Harmony” is included inside the Mods folder and must remain there.
Do NOT delete or move it.

WARNING: Vikings Mod is NOT compatible with any other mods.
Do not mix or combine it with additional mod folders or files.

Once placed, launch the game and let the North awaken.
