In game the bug seems just to be a non openable door, but from the game mechanics it's an open trigger-object that cant connect to a parent because it dont exist on a street-tile. It may causes missbehavior of surrounding POIs or game crashes. The Mod inserts a small PreFab-part as a ahell for the trigger to offer a parent to address to and put the tile back to clean game mechanic
Place the mod in a Mods folder of your choise. I prefered the Mods folder in the game directory because a tile is base and not touched so much, but it workes as well in the Mods folder under Appdata/Roaming.
Once loaded, the bugfix applies to every new map and game based on it. But as always, it will not automatically apply to any existing map or game. Resetting the tile or region files won't help here either because the map's prefabs.xml was written with the former configuration of the tile and doesn't include the part that fixes the bug.
I wrote the MapUpdater Tool to easily apply the bugfix to existing games. It lets you select a map or maps into which to insert the bugfix. When you start your game then, the bugfix is applied seamlessly. No resets are needed. Visually, the existing doors in your maps remain the same, but the logical layer is fixed, and all doors suddenly become openable with the key as intended by the gameplay. Once reset by normal gameplay activity, the new parts finally appear visible. You don't need to do anything; it's fixed.

The MapUpdater is a standalone, portable GUI tool. It doesn't require installation or registration.
It recognizes whether your map uses the old absolute anchor or the ground-level anchor used from A20/21 onwards.
It looks up your map folder under AppData and provides a list of the found maps with their creation dates. To apply, just mark the checkbox listed with your choice or use the button below to select all. When pushing the start update button, the tool first creates a backup file of your prefabs.xml as prefabs.xml.sav in the same folder and then inserts the bugfix-part to every entry of rwg_tile_industrial_intersection. This process is repeated for every map you select.
Since a duplicate entry would block the game mechanics, the MapUpdater will skip maps where the backup already exists or the bug fix has already been inserted. So don't worry about your selection when using it multiple times.
