I have over 2500 hours logged playing 7d2d. I've enjoyed both the game and watching various youtube content creators who play, especially Josh who makes the game fun and has done more than anyone else I know to promote the game. Having heard the story from both sides, I am disgusted at the way TFP's have chosen to approach the issue with Josh. Using all day streams of playing 7d2d, Josh has raised over $150,000 for animal shelters in his country. That's the kind of person that Josh is. No one is going to care but I have uninstalled the game from my computer and will never play it again nor any game by it's parent company. Cheers

Way to go completely misrepresenting the situation.

Regardless of how you feel about TFP, they still own the content. They have every right to demand that JaWoodle edit or remove the content. It the same thing with music that is used without permission on YT videos.

As sucky as it is for him, Josh and his ego escalated this situation.

I might have missed it but in his video he says (titled) he's being sued. But all I heard was that he decided to take legal action and not the inverse.

When asked to remove the offending content he did not and then made a video about it.

If a partner to whom your livelyhood depends on asks you in earnest that they made a mistake with the release and if you could delete the offending content as it was not ready yet and you decide not to then yeah it's kinda a little your fault.

He made clickbait videos making it seem bandits were in 3.0 when they weren't. Then acting like he had no idea that is what he was doing. Saying after the fact that they aren't in 3.0 doesn't change all the people who watched it and walked away thinking they were getting bandits in a few days.

did you even watch his video? from this post it seems pretty clear that you didn't.

you did miss something...on the thumbnail to his video it says clearly "they THREATENED to sue me"...not "they are suing me".

he made a reply to that...if it did not change your mind nothing I can say will either.

same answer to the third statement...he made a reply to that...if it didn't change your mind nothing I can say will either.
 
Goodbye threads are against the rules precisely because they incite flame wars and create sides that divide the forum. There’s nothing wrong with moving on to other games but announcing it as a dedicated thread is unnecessary. If you want to express feedback about current events, find an existing thread to participate in and make your opinion known.
