so, basicly the AK-47 that has base of 40 ammo per mag due to stat roll, when equiped with drum mag mod, only gives 60 ammo per mag... instead of 80. i would really really like this to make the ammo per mag 80 instead.

Why do you think that's a bug? You are using a quality 1 mod. Click on that mod and it'll tell you the bonus it gives, which is apparently 50%. Higher quality versions will give a greater bonus.

this is intended. and not a bug

The Drum Magazine Mod (And many other mods) has 6 Quality levels in V3.0

Q1 - +50% Magazine Size / -25% Reload Speed (Craftable after reading Automatic Weapons Handbook Vol 4)
Q2 - +60% Magazine Size / -20% Reload Speed
Q3 - +70% Magazine Size / -15% Reload Speed
Q4 - +80% Magazine Size / -10% Reload Speed
Q5 - +90% Magazine Size / -5% Reload Speed
Q6 - +100% Magazine Size / -0% Reload Speed

If you're able to obtain a Q6 Drum Magazine Mod you'll achieve your desired 80 magazine size.

Q2-6 can exclusively be found in loot containers or can be purchased by the trader and are currently not craftable with Crafting Progression enabled.
