I would like to suggest adding a buildable rail cart and track system to 7 Days to Die PC version. This would give players a new way to move resources, travel, and build advanced bases.
Why this would help the game:
Why this would help the game:
- Mining requires a lot of climbing and hauling. A rail cart would let players move stone, ore, and loot out of deep mines quickly.
- Bases could have connected rail lines for moving supplies between crafting areas, storage rooms, farms, and outposts.
- Rails would give players a mid‑tier travel option before vehicles, especially early game.
- Rail tunnels could be used for defense, chokepoints, or automated supply routes.
- The system fits well with the crafting and survival theme of the game.
- Buildable rail tracks (straight, curved, slopes, junctions) made from iron or steel.
- Rail carts that can be pushed, ridden, or upgraded with a small engine.
- Storage carts for hauling mining materials.
- Switches and signals for routing carts manually or electrically.
- Rail stations for loading/unloading and connecting to storage.
- Zombie interaction where rails are durable and carts can be used creatively for traps.
