I really enjoy playing with the new customization on 3.0 I think it’s great, however for someone who’s trying to keep the geography realistic and keeping lore in mind with 7 Days to Die being set in Arizona. it’s hard to get biomes just right just by using the percent of how much of that biome I want in each section of the map. Example snow up north desert down south. I know the best way to achieve this is by having the biomes set to a “Line” layout but it still seems like having a desert below a pine forest and above a wasteland and burnt forest is unrealistic. I like to think of the wasteland and burnt forest as kinda the blast zone of where the nukes went off but still just don’t see a desert being right below a wasteland or below a pine forest without having some kinda surrounding burnt or wasteland biome surrounding that area. Hopefully I’m making sense with that. But I think it would be great and a lot easier to achieve what I’m going for if console players had the ability to simply paint each biome where they want them rather than relying on random generation based on percentages and biome layouts. After painting the areas of where I want the biomes at. Let the game decide where to put structures and mountains and so on.
