One ask.... Just one... For the love of gawd..

Minecraft has it on by default, doesn't it? Either way I know it can lag MC when a decent bit of fire is happening. No idea about Teardown, but isn't that game basically a tech demo? Fairly small levels, nothing much happening other than players breaking things from what I've seen. Neither of those games really are that similar to 7 Days. Apples and oranges.

Teardown is a full game now. I'm just saying make it a toggle option.

And I'm just saying it isn't gonna happen with this game. Maybe if it was PC-only, but consoles simply wouldn't be able to handle it. They barely run the current game as it is. If you want it buy a PC and quit being limited by weak consoles.

Did I say that? No, I didn't. But I've seen enough reports from both PS5 and Series X users about the game performance being not great. And from the few videos I've seen it certainly doesn't seem the best. Maybe 3.0 will make it a bit better, who knows. But you're asking for a performance hog type feature to be added on top of that. Not very likely that will happen.

Yes, heaven forbid someone be realistic. Even on a mid-grade PC, fire spread in 7 Days is a huge weight on resources/frame rate.

Given that they are trying for parity between the PC and console versions, not likely to ever happen officially.

It is. Generally speaking it is much more visually demanding on both consoles and PC. Same with Teardown. The fire aspect is actually very realistic.

Do any of those games have an advanced physics based system where structural integrity down to bedrock is constantly calculated and updated based on changes to the world?
