That was a bug in an old version that has already been fixed.

You can place 2 cargo mods in the Drone. There was a bug that didn't allow it.

That's how the vehicle storage mod works. You can stack two, but only two. Makes sense. Stacking four of them was a bit much.

I know the vehicle storage only stacks two, but they'd purposely allowed 4 for the drone previously when they were introduced.
