Hello,
I know this has probably been brought up before, but terrain/block placement still needs serious attention.
When you break terrain and place a block, the ugly gap that appears between the block and the surrounding terrain looks terrible and has been an issue for years. On top of that, POI terrain makes road building way more frustrating than it should be. If a player wants to add gravel or asphalt roads, those blocks should actually display as gravel or asphalt, not keep looking like grass.
The screenshot below shows asphalt blocks made in the cement mixer. They are placed correctly, but visually they still look like grass. That means I spent hours gathering resources, crafting asphalt, and placing it, only to realize it doesn’t display properly, and now I get to waste even more time breaking it all back up.
For a game that heavily promotes building and base design, this feels like a major overlooked issue. Building should be one of the strongest parts of the game, not something that punishes players with weird terrain gaps and misleading block visuals.
Please put some real attention into fixing terrain blending, POI ground behavior, and roadblock visuals. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes new players feel like they wasted their time.
