Feedback & Suggestions for 7 Days to Die

I am a big fan of this game and would love to see it become even more immersive and realistic. Here are some features I’d like to suggest for future updates:

Crops should be biome-specific. For example, blueberries should only thrive in cold climates. If planted in the wrong environment, they should wither or fail to grow, forcing players to trade or travel for specific resources.

Farming should require maintenance. In arid or desert biomes, players should need to water their crops. I suggest adding a water pump system with customizable piping, allowing players to design their own irrigation layouts for large-scale farming.

Storms should have a physical impact. If a house has no roof or storage crates are left outside during a storm, they should take damage or be destroyed. Buildings should also have "storm resistance"—for instance, stone houses should withstand high winds, while wooden structures might suffer damage.

Beyond the Trader quests, the game needs a deeper storyline. It would be great to have Human NPCs (Bandits/Raiders) who can raid your base or roam the map. This adds a layer of threat that isn't just mindless zombies.

Instead of just scavenging parts, players should be able to repair the abandoned vehicles found on the streets and make them drivable again.

The game needs a wider and more creative variety of traps to defend against the horde, allowing for more strategic base building.

Zombies should be more resourceful. If a ladder is destroyed, they should be able to climb on top of each other (stacking) to reach the second floor or find alternative, intelligent ways to get to the player.

Introduce a "Mini-Boss" or a legendary mutant that is extremely tough to kill. These bosses could spawn every 15 days to provide a high-stakes challenge outside of the standard Blood Moon.

Plants seem to thrive without water already, it shows all around in the desert, even in real life.

Bandits won't be added till update 4 or 5.0, so you got several months to wait. No telling when the actual storyline will be added though.

Considering that there's no telling how many years the cars have been sitting, the engines would need to be rebuilt, and since there's hardly any access to countless tools needed to work on the cars, you're up a creek without a paddle.

Zombies already can climb on eachother, which is why I build my wall 4 blocks up instead of 2 anymore. They shouldn't be that smart, cause they have no intellect to speak of, much less have the ability to reason things out, cause they're... Well, zombies. 😅

Don't need mini bosses, the blue and orange/red zombies are tough bullet sponges already (not to mention the suicide zombies with a bomb), and the zombies that throw boulders are annoying as hell enough as it is.

They shouldn't be that smart
They don't have to be smart to do that. As they bunch up, they naturally start clawing and pawing at each other, "climbing" atop one another by default. How they learned to climb (actually, float up) ladders is an interesting question. Maybe they're evolving some kind of rudimentary intelligence. That would be interesting. :)
