New quest
1 supplie drop to loud and it drops at traders if you dont defend trader then you will lose them if u defend well then you can choose 6 rewards out of 16 if ur lucky you might nailgun or bundle
Tho if this does happen then air drops will be random and it will always be the most close trader to you

A quest that requires you to protect the trader you're at could be nice, but I don't think you should ever get that many rewards from any quest. Let it be the same as every other quest... 1 normally or 2 with the daring adventurer perk maxed. For that reason, I wouldn't tie it to an air drop. We shouldn't be able to trigger air drops anytime we want if there's a quest available.

Yeah thats is a good point but if trader dies they have chance to drop some of there sales and from 1 to 40k dukes and compound can be damaged

I like the idea of defending the trader and then you lose them if you aren't successful. Perhaps then you need to wait 10 days for another trader to open up at the same location. Perhaps just for that one quest, the trader compound becomes vulnerable. Interesting idea. Not sure about the six rewards though LOL. I highly doubt the Pimps will bite on that part.

Well ur defending a shiptment so it will have same stuff as airdrops wicj u usally get 6 things if ur lucky like i was you might get m60 bundle or a nailgun books and stuff

Yes sorry i shouldve stated that better bjt if they die that compound is completly gone so it can become a base if you fail but these shipments would happen on restock day

I still think being able to create an air drop any time you want isn't a good option. It is too OP even if you have to fight for it. I'd still support a defend the trader quest and I'd support regular air drops having a wandering horde appear next to the air drop unrelated to quests.

Hello, I have a YouTube channel where I play 7 Days to Die with friends, and we've come to the conclusion that the trader's quests ruin the gameplay with their huge rewards. It would be great if he sometimes rewarded you for reaching certain milestones, and instead of quests with crazy rewards, he would simply give you map markers for interesting locations that might have cool loot.

Traders don't have huge rewards. The rewards are very small these days other than the tier completions (those are your milestones). You might say that certain challenges have "huge" rewards that you get from traders, but those are challenges and not quests. You will eventually have the option to disable quests if they bother you, or you can just not take them. The game does not have special locations like other games do. It's just a set of POI randomly placed around the map, so there aren't really any interesting locations and no special loot. That's unlikely to change because that isn't really how the game is designed and we are at the end of development.

I haven't noticed any huge rewards for quests. If he'd given me 20 pistol parts for a quest, I'd be thrilled (randomness really doesn't like me). But he constantly gives me junk: books I've already read, ammo I already have two full boxes of each, resources I can already gather in a few minutes. Early in the game, the rewards are somewhat useful, but towards the end, they're garbage.
