Linux Players Attacked - How to stop

We are running a server for our family and a few other people have joined.. Its all been good up until last night. We had a random person join and start attacking players and bases. Not sure how they did it so quickly though.

I understand putting a password on the server will stop it but we don't want to do that level if possible.

What is our best option.
Also I have looked through server commands list and don't see how to find those players that was logged in. I want to ban the person that did it but can only see players if they are logged in based on the commands list if found.

Is there a good server management tool available? I am playing on a PS5 so I would need to be able to everything from my laptop or directly on the server.

Thanks

You may not want to hear it but a password (a really good one with more than 10 characters) is your best option. Think about it, everyone has to type it in only once, the client remembers the password after that. So the effort of yourself and all your family members is negligible

Apart from that "le" in the console should list all players and vehicles

Only those currently active in the game session.

If a PC is hosting, you could look in the logs from that game session to find that user ID and ban them. Password is the best choice long-term though.
As for dedicated server managers, they are Pinned in the Multiplayer section. They aren't going to stop some rando from joining your server though. Only password or whitelist will.

I think there is also a way to whitelist players if on a server but as meganoth mentioned, it takes almost no time at all to use a password and once they log in with it once they don't have to do it anymore.
