New Appliance Utilization

So I had an idea... We have the ability to do electricity in the game already, and air conditioners also exist in the game, though they are only for cosmetic purposes... What if they made it so the air conditioners are a necessary thing for having a home in the desert biome and onward with mod slots for enhanced compressor to counter desert heat, High-Watt Heating Coil for the mountain biome, and a deionizer for the wastelands radiation. Could even go as early as the burnt forest with an air filter for the smoke and ash...

Could be the first step towards making some of the appliances usable and not just for looks... could expand into letting coffee makers be used to brew coffee ofc but also goldenrod tea and red tea... stove could have 2 slots each for pots and cooking grills that let's you cook two things at once or boil 2 things at once... fridge for keeping raw foods from expiring as quickly like in most survival games, microwave could be used to thaw foods that you froze in a freezer, washer and dryer to clean your thermal clothing otherwise odor builds up and attracts zombies since TFP added the smell mechanic

Yes 🙏 , appliances should get purpose

And how did people live in the desert for several thousand years before the invention of electricity...

Don't you find it strange that swinging a pickaxe in a quarry doesn't require air conditioning, but sorting the spoils into boxes at home requires one?

Not only should AC systems get utilized, but house heating systems as well for houses/bases in the snow biome. Torches or fireplace don't seem to do anything to heat the inside of the house/base, even with the windows boarded up 100%, with no cold air leaking in and no holes in the roof or ceiling. It would beat walking around inside the base with a torch equipped all the time to keep warm. Would think the forge alone would heat the whole base, as hot as it gets to melt iron and such, but that's not the case.

Personally I like the bare bones grit of the game. AC is getting too luxury for me lol. I want to see my player overheat so there's a challenge to take cover or go for a dip. I suppose a stove, but perhaps run it on gas instead? Methane craftable in the chem station. I know the devs already mentioned using a stove, so it is in the works. I want a wood stove to cook on.

Oh no trust me I understand that 100%. I just feel that if the pimps want to make "overheating" a thing in the desert or "Freezing" in the mountains, then regardless if you are inside or not, or what ever survival gear you have should only increase the duration you can tolerate the extreme temps. And like other features, this could be a toggleable mechanic like the storms/smell system :)
