XBOX Xbox X/S Game Preview won’t update!!

I bought this a year ago it is the only version listed in the Xbox store and it will not update beyond 1.205.23.0

What am I missing? I paid the money it says it is updated but it is way behind.

Please help.
 
That version you quoted v 1.205.23.0 is the latest "Microsoft Store" version of the game. It is the latest version. The developers of the game, The Fun Pimps use a different version naming: version 2.5 stable (build 23).

Launch the game, create a new game, exit back to the main menu and verify that your newly created game is listed at this version and you're good.

No I made sure of that. I got confused by that a while ago and then bought this version. It looks like someone finally may have given me a fix. I will let you know.
