PS Stuttering (choppy, almost rubber banding?) since 2.5 update on PS5.

Version
2.5 Stable
Platform
PS5
Hellooo have to report an issue that I've found to be pretty consistent on ps5 specifically since the 2.5 update with harsh chopping that happens sometimes out in the wilderness, but is extremely pronounced in cities. I've collected some video showing both performance and quality mode having a stroll through the town.

As a side issue, during a horde night where please excuse the lack of gameplay I was just kinda seeing how badly zombies would hurt my building, I noticed the music getting interrupted like it was chopping at times as well. This is with 10 zombies max. As I sat around and looked at the horizon you could feel a bit of stutter as well.

I love the new update but I didn't ever have any of these specific problems before. Ran great actually. I hope the video helps and thanks you guys.

((Please note I don't have logs to post in that field on PS5, so the link I posted there is to a 2nd video, demonstrating the issue I described about the music. The screenshot/video field is the video riding through the city showing the stuttering.))

Reproduction Steps
Simply move through cities. The busier the area is the worse it is. Also just sit through horde night, and you can hear the music struggling fairly frequently with just 10 zombies.

I'm using a bicycle and it is worse than on foot. The issue DOES happen in the wilderness, slight visual "kickbacks" I guess I'd describe it? It is just much less pronounced and only a very minor annoyance.

Same issues on xbox series x since the latest update, performance is absolutely atrocious. Constant stuttering, especially while driving any vehicle including the bicycle. Just did my first tier 3 job on a new world and the framerate tanked so badly with the lootroom zombie spawns that i've just switched the game off - it's literally unplayable in this state.

Performance has never been great since 1.0 release but it's now in the worst state i've ever seen. Please focus on some performance upgrades for the next patch so i can play the game again.

I'm having the same issue on PS5. Performance was acceptable in the previous version, since 2.5, I get a lot of rubber banding/stuttering when using vehicles of any sort. It's unplayable in the current state. Please fix.

Video:

Sorry I need to add to this. I reached a horde night on another character. We were in a town as well. The results were pretty brutal. This is just one clip instead of a 20 minute video but it does capture a lot of the very sluggish motion, music breaking up at times, and some fiddling thru inventory where even the cursor is chopping up.

It was definitely never like this before :( PS5 logs 400+ hours and it might chop now and then but honestly ran pretty smooth, never felt any need to complain or report anything. Basically as soon as it hit 22:00 a vulture came and performance went south fast. Results are identical on performance and quality mode. Changing from FSR to scale upscaling makes no difference either. Video linked above. Thanks guys hope this helps with something.

Multiple users also reporting this on the steam discussion page. It is happening to my windows PC if that is allowed to be posted here. Generally when driving a vehicle, spawning zombies, or moving through a city, there are "micro-stutters" where FPS drops from 60 to around 30, the screen "jerks" for lack of a better word, then instantly jumps back up to 60. It is a very jagged frame graph compared to the much smoother one in 2.4.

Let's see... followed the troubleshooting I was given. Cleared out %appdata%\7days where the save files are, so my save files are gone if the backups don't work. Uninstalled the game from steam, deleted the folder in program files(x86)\steam\etc...., even deleted the 7days container in the registry that it said to delete, rebooted. Cleared any launch triggers. Downloaded 2.5 all fresh from Steam.

Created a random 7k map, used creative mode and gave myself a bike, super charger mod, some gas, raider set, insulation and underwear. Gave myself the biome progression gear. PoI teleported to Trader Joels and went to the largest city nearby and started doing laps through downtown. Same rubber banding. Quit the game and went to the main menu. Lowered all video settings to their absolute lowest, then reloaded back into that new file. Drove around some more, no change in rubber banding. Raised each setting individually from lowest to ultra or high, noticing some small differences in max fps, but still nothing without the rubber-banding or microstutters.

Noticed on the launch window for the game it has an option to launch without EAC, tried that too.. microstutters still exist no matter what setting, fresh install or not.

Alright wiped off 2.5, install 2.4, same map, give myself all the items minus the temperature gear, head to a wastelands city, time to make donuts down the strip.
Keep lowest settings, buttery smooth 60 fps
Go to medium settings, buttery smooth 60 fps
Go to ultra+ settings, shadows and reflections on low, 48-60 fps
Go to full ultra+ settings with shadows, reflections, everything as high as it will go, 21-45 fps
Despite the dip to 21 fps, it still felt smoother than 2.5 does when it drops from 60 to 32 then goes back up again.

All of this done at 1440p. 5600x six core, 32gb DDR4 ram, 7900xt 20gb vram, PCIe nvme sabrent 2tb ssd

So how does the game run smooth as butter in 2.4 at nearly ultra+ settings, then turn to a jittery mess in 2.5 when on vehicles or in cities, despite the clean install, despite following everything recommended. Anyone who wants to test, grab yourself a motorcycle with a supercharger and run up/down your favorite wastelands city main street.

You can watch it "pop" in the buildings on 2.4 smoothly with no trouble, however on 2.5 you can actually see it struggling to load things.

I'm sure that TFP will fix this once they get back to work after the holidays. Be patient. It's not like they have people on staff 24/7 waiting to fix bugs as soon as they happen.
If a proper bug report was submitted, then they will look into this as soon as possible.

I wasn't meaning to be critical of TFP if it was taken that way. Emotion I guess is difficult to portray online. I'm more asking myself and the group, wondering what could have changed to have caused this, because it ran so much better in 2.4. I'm not sure if I know how to submit a proper bug report.
Generally the first thing suggested is to do a clean install, so I might have let the time frustration of doing all that leak into the post as well. My apologies if my wording wasn't the best.
