Started a new 7 days to die game on steam. I'm having trouble with my craft screen doesn't matter what the craft item is because i am unable to access anything. The craft screen is blank. the craft screen is there but there is nothing on it. I have tried removing mods and re downloading the game nothing is working.

I can tell that you have a mod that adds extra inventory slots which is probably the cause and if so, I would remove it. Also, go ahead and post your log if you want us to take a closer look.

if you reread my post it said that i removed the mods and it didn't change anything. Might you have any other salutations for me? I really like this game. It makes me very sad that i have so much trouble with it.

Sorry, I did miss that part. A log file will give us more information to work with.

It often doesn't work if you remove mods in a current save. Try a new save after removing mods to see if it works. Otherwise, post your log.

As a note, you may think you removed mods and they are still there. That happens a lot to people. Reinstalling doesn't remove mods. Also, there are 2 places where mods may be and you may not have checked both. If you see a huge inventory like that, then you still have a mod installed. Your log will verify that and will also show where the mod is located.

Again Im having trouble with the craft menu. When i go in to craft an object the craft item menu is missing. For example going to craft an ax. i open the craft menu and find it blank on anything i click on. There is also when booting up a delay in the tick tracker. There is a mod i cant get rid of ever thing is deleted but game is still registering and reading it as a failed to load. not sure were or what you need for a log

The delayed tick thing is happening to everyone and isn't something to really worry about. bdubyah posted a link to the pinned topic for how to report an issue, which includes how to find your log. However, I thought I'd just give a very quick response to that to make it easier for you...

When you are in the game, press F1. At the top right you will see a button for the log folder. Click on it. That will take you to your logs and you can then share the most recent log. The best way to do that is by going to pastebin.com and pasting the log there. After you submit your pasted log, you can copy the URL at the top of your browser and paste it here so we can see it.

As far as the mod you say you can't get rid of, while you are in that Logs folder, press the Up arrow button near the top of the window so you can go up one level of the directory path. You should then see a variety of folders, including Mods. Open that folder. If you want a completely clean install, remove everything in that folder. Note that you'll most likely need to start a new game afterwards because removing a mod in the middle of a game usually breaks things.

As an alternative, if you open your most recent log and scroll down until you see it saying that it's loading mods, it will tell you the path to the mods folder. You can then manually go to that location instead of going "up" from the Logs folder, but that's a bit more work.
