Im just gonna vent a little bit here about whats been going on lately with my art stuff hoping that someone sees this and makes a difference.
This is MY art, usually based on my original ideas or re vamping stuff TFP has made, i do this just for for fun, to take away my head from other more boring art i do at my day job. Now... as it has been clearly stated now and before this art is mine but i do it using assets that CLEARLY belong to TFP, this characters, some backgrounds, logos, names, etc..... its all property of the Devs. I do this for fun, its just fan art stuff i make for the game that hooked me long ago and (even when i may complain a lot about some stuff) is the game i love.
And I have always assumed some people may take one of this pieces maybe and use it for a wallpaper or even maybe print it or something, and that's fine with me, that's something i don't mind at all, and i always upload good resolution images so people can enjoy them and enjoy even the smallest details.
Now..... lately i have found a ton of people using this images without any permission as YouTube thumbnails, hundred of times, and today I even found a company selling prints of some of this artwork, that even had my signature on it and got removed.
First of all, its kind of a D**ck move... honestly, if its not for something that involves money you could just ask, i will never sell any of this images since i already made clear this stuff is property of TFP so if no money is involved i would most likely let you use it, even i may like to see people using it as long as its not commercial wise and they credit me for the art.
But then if people is just plain stealing this work, and even removing my name from it, and even worst, selling it... they are stepping way over the line.
And honestly i think i'm not even your real issue if you are doing that but you are actually stealing from TFP.
I really really wish this stops, and i can keep uploading art and just have a laugh about it.
PLEASE, don't be a**holes. don't steal art, don't steal Devs assets i used. its just not worthy and makes me not want to upload stuff anymore.
I am not involved in any activity you may see online regarding any of the art showcased here that people are selling and its illegal to do it.
