[CRITICAL] Easy Item Cloning in Vanilla (No Mods Required)

Required items:
  • Drone
  • Robotic drone healing mod
If you have those, you can clone any items very easily (17 stacks of items every few seconds).

This works everywhere - singleplayer and dedicated servers...


NOTE: I didn't add logs and video because I don't want to waste my time anymore (I will just use this on my advantage until it will be fixed ;) )
 
Reproduction Steps
  1. Install the "Robotic Drone Healing Mod."
  2. Place the drone on the ground.
  3. Put any items you want to clone (except bandages/healing kits) in slots 1–17 (slot 1 should be empty for now).
  4. Place a bandage or healing kit in the last slot (I recommend using a basic bandage, as it heals less).
  5. Stand on a fireplace/forge to take damage (or use any other method; this is the simplest).
  6. When the drone heals you the first time, it will consume one bandage and take a snapshot of your other items.
  7. Remove all items except the bandages.
  8. Wait a few seconds until the drone is ready to heal you again (you may need to reduce your health again to trigger another healing).
  9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all bandages are used.
That's it! The drone takes a snapshot ONLY DURING THE FIRST HEALING AFTER BEING PLACED. To clone different items, pick up all items and the drone into your inventory and repeat the entire process.

PS: do not open inventory fuding healing because it may break the cloning (not sure)

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The drone inventory rolling back is a known issue that is being worked on, and there will be a fix for it in a future update.
You can dupe or lose items, so it would be best not to use the healing mod for now.
