Expanding recipe ingredients slots

Sounds like a headache to me. Unless they add a craft from container ability, having to go around grabbing that many things to make something would be annoying very quickly. I don't mind manually grabbing stuff as it is now, but that is way too much.

As far as sub-assemblies, I've used Vehicle Madness, which does that for some things. It's not enjoyable either to have to spend all that time going around trying to make something. If it was limited to a very small number of things (maybe just vehicles), then it isn't too bad, but if it was done with a lot of things, I'd get tired of it very quickly.

Don't forget that they are trying to make it so people will actually want to craft things. If you add complexity for the sake of complexity to crafting, it will have the opposite effect. Sure, some people will like the added complexity of it, but I don't think most gamers want complex crafting systems that require a lot of time or effort to complete. A very limited number of things like that would be fine, but if it's done on too many things, people will just stop crafting again and go back to only looting everything.

Personally, I would be fine with sub-assemblies that you would have to craft, then take those sub-assemblies to craft the final item - like they do with vehicles today. Not a fan of expanding the crafting recipe to 10+ items

No problem, the UI slots can be just increased from 5 to 10 without touching game recipes themselves! Game recipes can hold more than 5 components but because of only 5 slots other 5 will not be shown!

I suggest to expand recipe ingredient slots for 7 days from 5 to 10 so more things could be used to craft stuff (especially end game stuff)!

I would like this but they would have to buff the power of stuff like auger.

I think more items would be neat to.

Like to craft a mini bike you should need oil, radiators, filters, plastic, mechanical parts etc

I wouldnt mind this, makes crafting a bit more difficult and could give useless items more need.
Exactly
