Crossplay means that you can rent and use those servers just like a PC user can

Side note too, if you just have a few friends, pretty much any old laptop that has 2+ cores and 8gb of ram should host a server just fine, and you don't need to buy the game to use it, just simply download the dedicated server

For the same reason, I wouldn't reference the mom-and-pop store where you buy computer parts. They are only the "best" hosting option if you are in the NE US, have a good value for the game you want hosted, and they don't have a big enough presence even then to appear on the radar for most people.
I should update the sites listed, though. Some need to be added, while others need to be removed.
