Hello! Me and my parents are trying to play together but they keep getting these errors when trying to join me. I'm able to join them but not vice versa, which is creating a problem for us as their systems can't handle hosting as well.

Thank you for informing me I didn't see it I was coming here as a last ditch effort to try and be able to play. Do you think I should re-post this or is this okay for right now? Please let me know if i'm missing anything else i've read through and think this is all.

MODS
We are using these mods, however the issue still persists even with a fresh game instance on both ends.

HOSTING
I'm hosting an online game that's set to friends only and is password protected. We all run the game without EAC to improve performance and because a few of the mods require it off but again even vanilla it has the same problem. My parents are able to join each other with the same mods etc.

First, that CPU is obsolete for this game. Has been for about five years now. You may improve performance by setting affinity to only using the physical cores. That generation of AMD CPU does not properly support multi-threaded operations, and the game client relies heavily on this. I would also suggest reducing the resolution to 1080p as that will reduce some of the strain on your CPU. This is a 3D Voxel game, and not a 2D game like CyberPunk.

Second, none of your mods are installed correctly. If any part of the save relies on the mods, you are going to have a problem. If your other players have the mods installed correctly, and you don't, that could also cause a problem.

Third, you have a mod that affects progression. Adding or removing it is very likely to reset player data. This is a warning for when you fix the mods.

Fourth, the error message. It is looking for a block that exists in the mods that are not loaded.

For the mods, they are double-nested. Or basically installed wrong. You have a folder "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/Mods/Alter_FastTravel-20250901T185725Z-1-001/Alter_FastTravel" when that should be installed with "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/Mods/Alter_FastTravel"

Lastly, don't use Vortex from Nexus. It will ■■■■ things up in a bad way, and repairing afterwards basically requires force-deleting all of the game client and save folders.

Thank you! I don't know why the fresh install wouldn't work but it is working now! I had my dad use quick assist and I just did the mods for him lol. He has a new CPU and Motherboard combo but hasn't gotten a windows 11 key just yet. From a quick google search it says Vortex is a mod manager right? I haven't used it (i dont think?) but I will heed the warning and continue not to! Thank you again man, all is well now :D
