Anyone else feel like this doesn't really belong in Fortitude? It has nothing to do with Fortitude. I was thinking about it, and I think it should either be moved over to General, or rolled into Animal Tracker. It wouldn't be a bad fit in Perception to be honest, as knowing how to carve up an animal to get the most out of it could be seen as being more perceptive.
 
Reasonable arguments.

Although personally I don't care what branch this skill is in. I've never used it and I consider it absolutely useless.
 
Eh, I can kind of see why the devs put it there, but I'd have to agree for the most part. It would fit best rolled into Animal Tracker. I actually took a point into that for the first time since my very first days of playing this game because I was struggling to find meat. It got me thinking, though. Similar to how Pack Mule was worthless, Animal Tracker past the first point is also pretty worthless (even then, most players rarely use it). It would be nice if animal tracker gave you more than just finding animals.

If The Huntsman were rolled into Animal Tracker and just rename it to the Huntsman, it would make it more desirable and useful. I don't think you'd have to keep all the same perks of the huntsman, either. It's pretty powerful past the first 2-3 levels. Just balance it out a little.

I wouldn't want it for a selfish reasons. I use aninal tracker due to how rare animals are in the forest.

But at the same time I would love more meat 🍖
