Linux Mods that are cross play friendly

Are there any server side mods that are crossplay friendly? I got the builtin map mod to work without a login on my server.

Consoles do not have the hardware to support mods, even if they weren't already restricted by Sony and Microsoft.

Even a management mod like ServerTools will disallow cross-platform play. The exception to the rule is TFP's mods that are included as part of the dedi client.

so unless TFP adds an approval mechanism there will be none. The only mods that I would see going would be xml mods and quality of life mods that do not add anything, just makes game behave better.

The thing is that everything a mod does that the vanilla game itself doesn´t is a task more for the hardware. Xbox Series S is already on it´s limit with this game and can only have 2 people in MP and only 6K maps. So even if they would have a approval mechanic, they can´t control how many mods you install, there is a ton of small XML and Qol mods. MS and Sony don´t like it if mods impact your experience in a negative way at all and play rather safe than sorry.

■■■■ crossplay tbh. I am not entirely against it, but with this game we had to downgrade our PC version and that is a big no go.
