PC How do I put this?...Rollback please?!?!?! FUN PIMPS! Whyyyyyy?!?!?!

Maybe I'm romanticizing stuff way too much, but I'd pay for A16 with these graphics and World generation... and more wandering zombies with less closeted ones.

I wonder when the last time you played it was? I loaded up A16 last weekend and played it for 6 game days just so I could remember. I was stable for food and water around day 3, but it was touch and go. Temperature was messing with me. I should have relocated to a small settlement in the forest biome. All that survival was okay.

I wouldn't say there weren't more wandering zombies (singles) but a wandering horde was maybe 50% bigger. Zombies seemed to soak 2-3 times more hits and hit hard but were less perceptive, slower, and pretty dumb. Even though the stealth game was very primitive compared to newer releases, it was pretty effective because they had trouble finding you.

There were a lot fewer zombies in POIs and the POIs were around three plain rooms. You don't want A16 for POI exploration.

So, to me, what I miss from A16 was starting out kind of screwed in the desert facing a long walk to civilization and water. That's it.

It was a loooong time ago, to be honest, but I do have fond memories of it.

About not wanting A16 for POI exploration... yeah, that's why I said A16 with these graphics and World generation. I think it would be glorious :)

There is no way that speed reading is as fast as abusing learning by doing was, you could go afk and run against a wall meanwhile or sit in the forge menu while afk upping your crafting skills. You can´t go afk with the magazines. I am not against learning by doing, but not like we had it in A16. Darkness Falls has system that can´t be abused, or at least way less. Crafting is not LBD but perks with skill points. That would be one crucial thing needed for a good LBD.

Playing INT in MP Coop is another story though. I had bookworm before the first horde night as i didn´t need to put any points in other attributes and the amount of magazines and books i found so early on was crazy, now that we are at day 49 it´s actually annoying to find books and magazines all the time. I was maxed in INT before the second horde and magazines are a big part of that. In SP it´s by far not as OP but MP Coop and INT is just crazy overpowered and a good LBD would avoid that. If you can avoid getting hit, which is easy with a always powered stun baton and turrets, the Z´s stand no chance before day 14.

A good LBD would give a better balance for both, SP and MP if you can´t abuse it and that is the crucial part that A16 didn´t have. Probably not as good for PvP i guess, but that´s not really an issue with the few people actually playing PvP.
