Windows Update game v2.1 bug in Steam...

Hello, do peoples have problem to update the game ?

12.6gb/12.9gb & 17.1gb/17.4gb, Steam said "corrupted download" & "inaccessible content servers"...

I already do manything but always bug... No problem with other games, only with 7DTD...

(bug whatever my PCs at home & at work & some friends too...)

Even with one of my PC test, fresh backup of Windows 10 & 11, install Steam & download some games of my account & then same bug with only 7DTD...

I'm not a pro but I think it's a problem of 7DTD's (or Steam) files/servers because with my PC test, there's no problem for a complete install of ARK Survival Evolved & Conan Exile (both game with all DLC) & many other games with big files sizes...

Try this:

Go into Steam - > settings

Under Downloads, click Clear Download Cache. It will shutdown any games and Steam, but it clears out any files that were corrupted while downloading. Then reboot and try to update 7 days to die again.

This happened to me in the past with a different game and helped me out with it.

Thanks for the answer, but like I said previously, I already try manything & no positif resultat, delete cache (that I never did since Windows 10 & 11 out & zero bug update for any game), change Steam server, reinstall Steam, disable PC & modem router firewall in any case ect...

There's something who stop the download, no cause of Internet connection problem, every time that stay nearly 2.5% of data only to be download & this it's only with 7DTD...

But in fact, this it's useless in logical because like I said, Steam coul download until that stay nearly 2.5% only...
Try many times at home with different PC, at work, at friends, always 2.5%...

My cousins in USA no problem... In France when 2.1 go out, some friends can do the update with zero bug... But by do it some day later as me & some friends, well IDK why it's bug like that & only with 7DTD...

But you did not include the antivirus, which is specifically what is covered in the Pinned FAQ Thread. Your AV software could be flagging the files and causing the problem. It's a pretty common issue, and is why it is covered in the Pinned thread.

The antivirus is OFF when I play any game & use Steam or other video game library launcher...

& on my PC TEST all firewall/antivirus is off...

Well, I think I try all already, I ask Steam but no answer...

Wait next update to see if that happen again...

I will just go to do a copy of 7DTD at one of my friends...
