XBOX 7d2d stuttering issue on xbox series x. video references

Yeah, this is something we're aware of. Optimization is always being worked on though. Please be patient, as it is an unfortunate battle with the lack of hardware on consoles -- but we're aware and on it. Having the game on an SSD can help, if you can swing for an external/expansion SSD (not a HDD)

So can we have clarity?

Are we saying the Xbox expansion card will make this game run smoother?
I can’t find any evidence that a external SSD is faster than the internal Xbox drive.

Yes, I know I’ve been doing a lot of research in the last day or two, it seems to run better on a PS5 which has a faster SSD,
But why is Jugginator suggesting otherwise?

I haven't done research on speeds, but if there are drives that are faster (by a certain magnitude, if we're talking a few MB/s faster then it won't do much) then it will help the game out. Drive speed matters a lot with this game. But if the speed increase isn't a few to several hundred MB/s faster, it wouldn't do too much.

He probably thought I was on pc for some reason

I can read. I was just suggesting if there were much faster storage solutions it could help. I haven't done research on it though.

i figured i was just asnwering his question. for xbox we HAVE to use the specific external ssd's. we can use anything custom
Ah I see

Yeah initial info I found must have been incorrect and one post on Microsoft forums had a reply that wasn't very well versed, lead me to believe that you could use a custom SSD as long as it was formatted properly, but yeah checking the documents if a game is optimized for xbox series then it has to be on a proprietary Seagate expansion or the internal drive. Shame, quite silly IMO.
