Weird bug after update.

Posted a bug report already. What a freaking pain in the ■■■. Why do we need pastebin for 30kb file? Why do i need to have a link to a screenshot when i can upload the screenshot to the thread. Reducing the workload it seems. On the back of the use.

Anyways anyone has this problem? Trying to play with my buddies right now so i try to see if someone else has a fix maybe. I can click on join a game and go onto a server, but the weird menu you see here stays on my screen when i spawn in. Pressing new game or continue game gives me the same red error as seen.

Yeah, at first i thought it´s a mod, but i have the exact same mod folder as my friends and they have no issue. I uploaded it to my dropbox for them to download when we started the playtrough. It happened at the update from V2 to V2.1. Verified files, nothing. Can´t reinstall right now as my internet broke down in that exact moment (For the first time that it´s out longer than just a few minutes in years, ofc that happens today) and i use my phone as hotspot.

I would suggest renaming your Mods folder temporarily and then starting the game and see if you have the same problem. If not, then it's a mod problem. You can rename the Mods folder back after testing. Make sure that you do before trying to load any existing save. I've seen enough times where someone gives someone some files to make sure they have the same setup and the other person claims to have put the files where they are supposed to be, but didn't actually do so, making that test invalid. So renaming the Mods folder is going to be more accurate than asking someone else to test with the same Mods folder.

Also, keep in mind that the game automatically loads mods from 2 locations - %appdata%\7DaysToDie\Mods\ and from your game directory's Mods folder. It also loads the LocalPrefabs from both locations, but those aren't mods, so that is not important here. Also, if you have changed your User Data Folder, it may be loading from somewhere other than %appdata%. So be sure that you test by either renaming both Mods folders or else making sure that one of them is empty (except the TFP Harmony mod).

@Riamus Nope, this happened on day 21 and they all could join the server again with their mod folder untouched and everything works for them as it should. We all have thousands of hours in the game with mods.

I can´t test anything i am still on my phones internet as someone seems to have wrecked the box of my ISP near me with their car and i already uninstalled when the internet died.

Only using the folder in Appdata since it exists.
