Windows 7 Days to Die Server Hosting issue through steam

i have noticed an issue that i have with steam that i cant seem to fix. basically i launch my 7 days to die server on my server PC but when i try to launch the game itself to play on my server steam has a stroke because it thinks im launching the game twice. it was made it to where im unable to play may server or play for alittle bit here and there until the server realizes it needs a new epic code/token. is there any help or advice for this that doesn't mean i have to buy it again and rebuild my server on another steam profile.

Sounds like you are launching the server wrong. Like using Steam for the dedi.

Hard to say without logs though. This topic is pinned for a reason. The title is written the way it is for a reason as well. SO many people just ignore it though.
