Kind of glad to see it because I subsist on snakes. I've always hated hunting Bambi ever since I worked out what happened to his mama when I was a kid. But if I'm starving, I'll make him an orphan and think about him while I'm eating bacon and eggs.

You need to look before dawn. They'll be there afterwards if they aren't killed, but that's the best time to find them because that's when they spawn. I've seen many deer (all does except one buck). In fact, I've probably killed more deer than I have chickens at this point. And I've only seen one or two rabbits in comparison.

Ya, chicken once abundant have succumbed to Zs, I guess. Maybe the super fast feral wights are hunting them down?

Anyways, Bambi at dawn like Riamus said. That is when I've found them.

I've been finding plenty of chickens. I'm playing the latest and greatest on experimental. Last time I really needed meat I found a pig at night.
