Yeti on blood moons?

Saw a video where someone had blood moon yetis chase them and the yeti stones were taking down an entire POI. Has anyone experience blood moons in Snow (or spitters in desert? -- I saw at least one blood moon in desert that did not have spitters).

I just had my d21 horde in the desert, including a couple yetis. I was on the ready-made ladder base graciously offered by Ostrich Tower, so they didn't manage a single throw... dunno if they can throw on ladders, or if I was just lucky. Prolly the latter.

I'm around day 100 in my game. I haven't see any yetis in blood moons yet. Plenty of cops and some demolishers though. Probably some randomness as to when yetis show up.

My group had yetis on day 14...in the burnt forest. Normal XP gain, too, so it wasn't like we were power leveling. 4 of us total were on for that blood moon when we went from chilling on a roof to 2 of us on the ground in the middle of a zed ■■■■■■■■■■■ when part of the roof collapsed. We didn't know what happened until we spotted one mid rock toss

Needless to say, denying line of sight from afar is more important than ever

There goes my theory of TFP trying to theme the biomes
Well, they've themed the biomes, but treat the horde night as a pure gamestage problem. The biome specific things have their own chances, and will then show up anywhere. Had to check as I was hoping I had seen things... but they're there.

Yeah, they made them show up on horde night in any biome. I think most players want that. There are always requests for more of the zombies/enemies that aren't in horde night to be added to horde night.

Well compared to SP, MP itself is power leveling no matter which XP ratio you choose as you share XP in a party.

The games stage for horde night is also higher in MP as it is a combo or all players within a certain range even when not in a party (80m i think?). Something like 100% from the first player plus 80% from the second one and so on, caps out at +50% for every player after that iirc. So you will see stronger enemies during blood moons way sooner than in SP.

I've already faced several Blood Moon hordes with Yetis. They only caused minimal damage. A block or two was destroyed, but nothing critical. If you build a solid base, it should be able to withstand a few stone throwers. I always incorporate redundancies into my base and reinforce everything as much as my resources allow.

I set my game up for bloodmoons for every 20 days, give me ample time to get my base completely prepared for a bloodmoon. Had only 1 yeti and several spitters last night on our first bloodmoon. And we was in the pine forest too.

i had a bloodmoon a few days ago but the yeti got caught on my spikes and died in like three shots by the time it turned the corner and we saw each other. it wasnt able to do anything

Oh, yeah; we're aware that it's a combined gamestage thing. Just didn't think we were high enough on day 14 to get those. But we also noticed now that regular radiated (green) zeds show up much sooner (we were seeing them before day 14). Spooked one of our regulars because he thought he had fallen hopelessly behind upon spotting one in a POI he was clearing. Had to realize that regular rad zeds are essentially a mid game spawn at this point (or super early in our case for being a MP group).

It would be neat if the game showed you a group's gamestage so you could have an idea of what to expect, but I suppose that takes the surprise factor out of it (and could be construed as "more hand holding" or some nonsense).
