Console IMPORTANT: V2.0 Storms Brewing & Console Edition FAQ

Pimps just Shadow dropped 2.0. Tried to launch v1.4 without updating and no go, update is required to play the game, even with auto updates disabled. Downloading new update now. DLC is also available in Xbox Store. Horder set, Marauder set and Desert set, all cosmetic. Update is 20.28GB

I remember a time probably about 140 restarts ago that I built some projects with the idea that they would have permanence. Of course, I was sorely mistaken and since that time I have not built projects that I want to last forever. I have a few ideas that I will try once the roadmap completes and major updates that breaks saves are a thing of the past.

I've got a few games that I always look forward to starting over. 7 Days is one, also Subnautica and Greenhell. No matter how many times I've played starting over is always different and exciting.

While not the result some were hoping for, thank you for reporting back with what you found.

I've disliked watching this game slowy remove the realistic survival aspects. Hell I forgot it existed for a while till I seen some article on players disliking the new update. And of course it's something as simple as a weather system that took them 12 years to add only to be garbage. We are really in the time where modders have better work to offer than paid development teams.

They continue to ruin the survival crafting aspect of the game over the years. Gather water from the river with a jar like a normal person? Not anymore. Normal weather? Nope, you better hide stalker, emission incoming. Whats next? zombies will have health bars, cars will need skill points instead of gas, and guns will have level locks to shoot them (if they already dont, i genuinely stopped playing this long ago)

Like my opinion or not you can't deny what they have done to the game.

Just got a new update released for Xbox today. 12.64GB update size. Looks like it's v2.1b7 stable.
