Windows Loot message delayed (out of sync)

Punching grass (or anything else that give loot) and the loot message is delayed and not in sync like it was before (e.g. 1.4 and earlier)

It is a side effect of changes made to fix other issues. I think faatal said they made some changes to try and get it back to have it was previously, but it wouldn't apply when using your fists. But it should only do it when using fists now rather than with every item/tool as it did in earlier EXP builds.
