Attack of the Frostclaw!

And the snow biome tends to have better loot and easier missions versus the wasteland on top of being smoother to drive on on the main through ways...
 
I think I did more damage to the terrain than the frostclaws with spear power attacks, but yes, I'd rather not have enemies messing up my yard.

That said, their attacks are silly easy to avoid. Just walk/run towards them, they'll throw over your head, and then you can stab them in the face.

Just to note, faatal said they increased block health for the snow so now it will take 4 boulder hits in the same spot to destroy a snow block instead of one. That should solve that problem for you.
