Key racks/button pads not unlocking/opening doors, and garage doors.

The key racks and button pads in POIs are randomly working/not working. When you activate them it may work or it may not. This occurs in multiplayer and single player. Sometimes in single player when I pause the game (press esc) and come back to it later if they were working they then don't or vise versa. This is not really a big problem unless you have slipped down trader Joel's fireplace and into his private room and the key rack does not unlock the door, then you are trapped.

This seems to have started happening after the v1.4 (b8) update.

Thank you for reporting, we are aware of this issue and it is already fixed in the V2.0 experimental version
