Completing a challenge I don't have (Biome Progression is off)

I am playing with Biome Progression turned off, but when I put on a piece of non-primitive armor, it played the "you did a challenge" noise and informed me that I did the Wear Armor thing, even though I don't even have the biome challenge tab.

I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with the information provided. Would you be able to attach screenshots of the completed challenges for us to look at for additional information? Which armor piece was it that you wore? Do you have more repro steps we can look at?

The biome challenges are not there to look at, as I have them disabled. It's basically announcing that I completed the various biome challenges (like when I put on a athletic hat) or looted stuff in the burnt biome (I looted Jen's compound after opening the trade route), etc. even though I have the biome progression disabled and cannot look at or redeem them. The only problem (a very minor one) is that it's still announcing that I completed the biome challenges. It's not a big problem or anything. It just confused me a little.

In case it helps them reproduce it, did you change the biome hazard setting before or after starting a new game? Maybe changing it mid-game (even on day 1) could cause it.

I started a new game with biome progression turned off, and it is still letting me know when I complete the biome challenges.
