V2.0 Unstable build 285 - Enemies dont spawn during the blood moon

A couple of things here.

First is that I would question if that CPU is even valid for playing the game anymore. Sure it meets the idiot specs TFP has posted, but that processor is just too old, and was only a mid-grade chipset when it was good.

Second is that you appear to have some issues with security software interfering with the game client. (Though it is possible it is just because the CPU is overloaded) I cover this in the Support FAQ thread.

Looks like you log in basically during bloodmoon. Player GS21, so it uses the Stage 19 horde mechanics.
It shows that it spawned about 15 zombies before you died.
Once you are dead, the horde is over until you start it again. Spawned zeds will be removed.

Looks like everything is working the way it is supposed to. If you want to re-start the horde after you have died, then you just find a zombie to hit, or restart the session. This is how it has been for a few years now.

Well, With this processor, I played for 100+ hours on medium graphics settings, starting from V1.2 and up to V1.4, and everything was more or less fine. The problem I had occurred at high graphics settings, and nothing critical happened during the entire 7 hours of gameplay. I'm going to upgrade my PC soon, so maybe most of the technical issues will resolve on their own.

The first time I encountered the error was 06.19, then I logged out of the game and logged in the next day, just during the continuation of the blood moon. The wave of enemies appeared again, but as I said earlier, after death, everyone disappeared, and not a single zed was on the horizon. In previous versions, at such moments, waves of enemies continued to spawn after a while, so this moment seemed strange to me.

As for the security software, I don't have any antivirus software on my PC :)

Well, if there's no problem with that and everything works as it should, I'll try to search for "zombie to hit" or ignore this problem . Or I'll wait for full 2.0, huh. Thank you for your help.

You have Windows Defender, and you can't turn that off without breaking the functionality of the OS. Do the exclusions.

There isn't a "problem". It is not an issue or a bug. It is a purposely intended game mechanic.

Yeah, this is the normal mechanic. If you die during the horde night and no one else is in the game (and alive), the horde night will end. To restart it, you'd need to attack a zombie (I've never tried this, but it's supposed to work) or else exit and open your game again. As long as it's still before 4am, the horde night will start again (this is true even if you've completed the horde night without dying).

My guess is that it's designed this way so that if a player can't survive the horde night for one reason or another, they won't just keep getting killed over and over while waiting for horde night to end.
