What character build are you using?

I am playing on adventurer and: first put a point each into pistol and bow and spear. Raised agility to 4. Raised Int to 10. Got the 2 quest rewards bonus from Daring Advesnturer. At day 16 I am level 46, gamestage 111. I have the burnt and desert badges and am in no rush to enter snow.

... and then I put three points into INT mastery and turbocharged the int/magazines. Level 2 is bookworm -- a 25% to find a book in any container. Level 3 is Memory, 50% to earn to skill points from any book. It's day 16 and I have crucible (but not enough metal to make everything I can make). These are very powerful perks that will not age well -- useful in early game but not late game. I am already reading some of the bonus books for xp (not much xp) instead of selling them even when I have already read the book.

I'd like to reply, but the only game I've started I can't take seriously; so I'm just faffing about. Agi until > 2m Parkour > 3/5 Pistols to get the books is where I landed in the first 2 days, prolly couple in knives next, then moar pistols until maxed, then ... dunno if I make it that far thou.

I don't use a "build", at can't give you any real answer. I do always put points into spear and parkour and daring adventurer immediately. After that, I just grab whatever feels right at the time. I don't plan or do some meta thing.

Well, as always, Strength to 7 to start for mining stuff, then I decided to go spears (I hate how slow sledges are, or I might have tried them.) Maxed out Perception, Salvage Operations, Perception Mastery. The little bit of extra money you get from Perception Mastery isn't amazing, but I've gathered probably 500+ steel just from scrapping cars and stuff. Working on Int now (picked up a bit of agility).

I finally looted a T1 ranged weapon (a q1 Wooden Bow) even though I've got Q6 Steel Pickaxe/Axe, Q6 Iron Shovel (because Steel is useless) and a Q4 Steel Spear (I can make Q5 now, but only need like 6 books for Q6, so meh.)

Burnt and Desert badges done, probably will do Snow after Day 14 (I still need to get some stuff done for my horde base and it's already Day 11.) Only done 1 quest each in Burnt/Desert though (just unlocked T4 quests, need to hit up Bob for the unlocking trade routes, since I want to be able to pick up my snow merit badge from Hugh.)

I'm a generalist with a preference for stealth. But to start, I put 2 points in STR and 2 points in clubs so that I have enough stamina to fight.

I have one point in clubs, one point in lucky looter, one point in living off the land, 1 daring adventurerer, 1 point in engineering, 1 in grease monkey, 1 healing factor. The rest goes into agility, from the shadows, hidden strike, gunslinger, bows, parkour. I also put points into the two new agility perks that I can't remember the name of now. And then medium armor which is a general perk.

I'm in a full set of assassins gear, sneaking up to buzzards, and cutting their heads off.

Basically agility, a point in lockpicking - about to go t3 and will hybrid fortitude with agility I expect with some spread... Three to spend now.
