Almost 1 Year Since v1.0 And DLC

Just wondering...is this everything for 2.0? That we see in the streams this weekend? Hmm. Come to think of it I think I have seen more Mods come out in this year waiting for 2.0 then the whole update of 2.0 itself.

Also wondering, why jack the price of the game up then release DLC stuff?

Yes. The streams may of course miss something, but the version is the same; plus some potential bug fixes.

There are probably a lot more modders than there are Pimps, so, no surprises there.

Well, even at the surface level, both seem to aim at the same thing: "more money". "There's no longer a discount for it being EA" is prolly what they're thinking with the price. And DLC is DLC, free ones are generally weird IMO, just put it in the base game then. Paid ones are a means for people to offer continued support for the dev; in the best case. Dunno how it's panning out here thou.

I am watching somebody streaming version 2 right now. There are several doing this and every ■■■■ one of them so far have chosen sledgehammer as their primary weapon. 🤦‍♂️

No surprise. People want to try it out with the new books. Once people try it out for a game or two, you'll see some that stick with it, but most will probably go back to whatever they normally use. For me, there's nothing they can do to improve the sledgehammer that would make me choose to use it unless they made it attack much more quickly, which won't happen. I hate slow attack melee weapons and tools. It's why I never use the steel axe for wood and why I never use the sledgehammer. It could be made 100x more OP and I still wouldn't use it. ;)
