General perk suggestion and replacements for others

  • Miner69er
  • Motherload/junkminer (maybe you don't need it)
  • Scraper aka Scavenger
  • Grease monkey 🐒 but a water down version. We will call it mechanic
  • Advance engineer
Should be in general because they are things you NEED for good QOL

And a few ideas to fill the roaster

General

Little things that are nice to have
  • Basic training (buffs all ranged) by 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 weapons by small amount)
  • Workout routine (buffs all melee by 2 up to 10%
  • Sex rex: lowers stamina cost of running, melee, etc by 2 up to 10%
Replacements for other Perk trees

Perception
  • Double tap: chance to deal double damage with any ranged weapon and bonus headshot damage 10% chance and 2% headshot damage up to 50% chance and 20% headshot damage

Intellect:
  • Savage Savant: increase damage based of XP gain and chance to double your xp amount from 10% to 50%

  • Elemental Fermental: increase damage with fire, bleed, and electrical attacks from 10% to 50%

I've said it throughout the talk about the general perks that I don't think the moving perks belong in general. Mining is clearly strength based, so the perks make sense there. General isn't so that you can do everything you want that isn't connected to fighting. It is for things that doesn't fit in the perk tree they were in. Armor, for example, doesn't fit into any attribute.

Even scavenging did fairly well into strength. And engineering easily fits into intelligence.

My main argument is Like farming or armor. Everyone needs to mine, everyone needs to scrap, and everyone doesn't want to put points into a class they aren't going to use. I Don't mind it but some like mining. Basicly everyone has at least 3 strength

Also everyone needs Forge ahead to have even a good playthrough.

You can get plenty of forge ahead without peeling into strength. I normally don't put points into mining until at least mid game and always find plenty of forge ahead magazines, so that isn't really a problem.

As far as general goes, as I said, it isn't a way to avoid putting points in for commonly used things. For that matter, I have perked into armor since A20, at least not until late game when I am just putting points wherever just so they are spent. So I wouldn't even consider those important. It is instead a way to move things out that don't fit into the attributes. And it did just that. I know people wanted it to be a way to get what they use without spending points in attributes, but that wasn't the purpose.

Everyone needs to mine, but does everyone need to mine like a pro? Everyone needs to scrap as well, but does everyone need to get the last bit out of scrapping?

As an example: A top perception scrapper will get say 5 oil out of a car. An agility player with just one point into scrapping will maybe get only 2 or 3 oil out of a car. Means he has to scrap another car before he can build something that needs 5 oil. But on the other hand he can scrap a car even in the night or loot enough sellable stuff in the night to simply buy 3 oil from the trader while the scrapper has to stay in the horde base and sort some containers.

Alright I got it. How about perks that don't take away from other builds/classes but are nice to have if you Don't wanna Perk into that build

Some are stackable with other perks
  • Miner49er: find mining magazines, a discount miner 69er that increases block damage by 5% each, and harvest by 2% so the cap would be 25% and 10% respectfully

  • Scraper: discount salvage operations: increase block damage via scraping by 5% and increase harvest by 2% cap is 25% and 10%

  • Basic training: jack of all trades, all ranged weapons damage Increase by 5% cap is 25%

  • Strength training: increase all melee damage by 5% cap is 25%

  • Sexual Trex: decrease stamina usage while running, using weapons, anything and buffs stamina by 5 points cap is 25%

  • The Survivor: increase max health by 5 points and reduces your metabolism by 5%

  • The geek squad: increase finding of vehicle magazines, increase crafting speed by 5% and reduce fuel usage by 2% each

Along with this ima work on a short video. Because it I'm going to make videos I should start small
