Windows How to reveal Map ?

I am currently playing offline with the Steam version v1.2 b27. I am really bothered by the grey areas on the map, so I am looking for a command or mod that will reveal them all. I am just interested in the display of the in-game map, not to check the location of POIs or traders. I have tried the visitmap command, but the map that can be opened with the M key remains partially greyed out.

In your local client game, you will only see explored map. There is no way to unlock it unless you use a mod.

I will also note that the data size of your explored map is limited. Once you hit the limit, oldest explored map data will be removed.

One option you have besides mods is to enable debug mode if you are on PC. Open the console (F1), type dm and hit enter. Then open your map. You will see the debug nap with some options to change the view. It isn't great, but it will show you the entire map. But only while debug mode is active

I'd like to know about that "mod"

I've never heard of it disappearing after a certain amount of exploration.

I know.

But I don't play in debug mode all the time so this method doesn't work.
