Using bows uses very little stamina, also the only deaths ive had early game have been from birds. I hate the birds. The stamina is a joke, unless all you do is power swing and stand still and take a hit. Jumping & sprinting eats too much stamina to use in combat also hitting a tree 50 times...

the only time they "dug" in A16 was if the terrain wasn't flat. If they were digging, its because you hadn't flattened it before. I've always had a fall pit in A16, never had anyone dig. I took the time to make sure everything was flat

Ok, if they dig those holes... will you spawn some zombies to see if they can sense them? also.. you couldve dug 3 blocks down, put a block above you and you'd be perfectly fine on the first 2 horde nights ( as long asyour game stage wasnt high enough. Zombies didn't dig in A16.)

that was the case in A16.4... Kinda sad people forget that. Trade killing zombies to mining, and you've got the same type of XP grind. Wanna power level? Start mining. Get a forge before the nights end on day 1, get a fully cemented base by the first horde night.

Whenever i start playing, I always start the game solo. My friends usually join me later, usually after the first horde night or just later in the playthrough. Everyone plays differently, doesn't mean its right or wrong, just different. Digging / Mining in A16 was the best way to get XP...

fact of the matter is... its always an XP grind. You cant build steel at level 1, you cant make a minibike at level 1, you can do very little at level 1. Although i do like the idea of finding blueprints... but i've had several playthroughs in A15 & A16 where i didnt find a minibike until day...

Nope, sorry. Having a minibike doesnt make the game hard. By you farming screamers for XP sounds like you loved the quick leveling... so in A16, you were done with the game WELL before lv 100. By the end of the first week, you must have had a full cemented base that no zombies in your current...

Steel by day 1? too hard, by day 4 or 5, not hard. Cement by day 3 too easy. Unbreakable base for the first 3 or 4 horde nights, done. Yay fun!

thats funny, i think you're the first person to say A17 has no busywork and that things are handed to you. There are tons of complaints about A17 being too grindy and it takes too long to unlock things and now you're saying there's no busy work. a lv 1 gun shouldn't be much better than a lv 6...
