There's a mod called Harvestable Zombies out there, it makes the corpses stay a little while longer, and you can harvest them for a small amount of bone, flesh, and nitrate. IMO, beyond day 30 or so, it's more work than it's worth, but it was nice to have early on.

If you don't want to have to reinstall everything, you can use a drive cloning tool. I used Macrium Reflect free to transfer to my new SSD.

Also, I only recently realized, not all shapes are available as a wood frame. There are some that require an iron or rebar frame to get the shape you want.

I like the idea of the turret, especially early on, but I agree it seems odd they're infinitely powered by some mystical source. I feel the same about the cement mixer. You could mix cement in a container, wheelbarrow, or even mix by hand in the beginning, then once you have power, the cement...

I use a soundboard program, every time I level up I press a key, and it makes that ridiculously loud Everquest DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!! sound. :smile-new:
