hard to have fun melee when you cant backpedal faster than a snail crawl. they strongly nerfed my enjoyment with bladed weapons with the new style...stand in one spot and smack zombie till its dead, fighting mechanics. major step backwards imo ...but what do i know

leads me to an interesting train of thought....they increased difficulty by bloating the amount of zombies in POI's to ridiculous levels...and also nerfed mining speed AND nerfed the amount of coal and nitrate you could find underground and nerfed a players ability to move more easily with...

this game got me to play literally thousands of hours because it had replayability and it wasnt a chore to start a new game or play multiple games at the same time...now i played to level 150 and got bored when the cap is supposed to be 300 and i dread the thought of grinding through a new game...

if they bring food spoilage i certainly hope they repair basically the entirety of every other part of the game being imbalanced because adding a new untested mechanic to what the game is now would probably set it back quite a bit. as for resource spoilage, ive never heard of this in any other...

it's not comin back Grue...regardless of how you argue it...and you arent wrong....it isnt the vision MM has for the game. He doesnt want that....the new system isnt done yet...it will be refined and tweaked and i expect that in time it will improve so we need to just enjoy or not enjoy the ride...
