I haven't seen this being mentioned anywhere. Now that glass jars are removed, I think it would make sense to remove empty cans as well. They are only used for making oil and can of sham which can be swapped for something like plastic polymers or raw iron. One less item to clutter the inventory.

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post or if external links are not allowed. This is a small mod that allows the player to quickly deposit all items from their inventory to nearby containers. Thought I share it here as well. You can read more about it on nexus mods.

I've never played the console version, therefor I cannot make any assumptions about it. In my opinion, you can't state a fact about something you have read online, just like you don't google your symptoms and make a conclusion out of that instead of going to a doctor. It looks like you haven't...
