Someone on steam answered my question: The latest experimental hasnt been released yet- If for some reason you still had the option before, it was from A19 experimental, and will have been taken down so that the A20 experimental could be put up. I guess I never noticed the option disappeared...

click on the  "Please be aware that a wipe of previous Save Data and Generated Worlds is recommended for A20 Experimental" banner and it will give you instructions

Been playing since 12.5  TFP can't stick to a deadline to save their lives. Whatever their first estimate is always tack on 2-3 months to it. The first estimate for A20 was Halloween weekend.. so start to get impatient by Xmas weekend.
