PC The recent changes to Trader Jen's model and the 1.0 trader voice changes.

Yeh, NeoJen is quite the let down... funnily enough, I wouldn't really mind that model as a new character, especially with some touch-ups. But as a replacement of the old one, it's just straight up worse. And with the ongoing weird political uglification of women in video games, the change...

You are adding weight; stone is heavier than wood. So, at the very least, the order in which you upgrade matters. In the excel-PRO-design-style: W = Wood, S = Stone I'm not saying you've made mistakes here, necessarily; the SI system does do hiccups on occasion. But if you have, it's a whole...

What's the max range we can see a trader flag?

The could (probably) even show a dynamic flag in the middle of the static "3D mesh" they're showing for unloaded chunks. It would need to implemented separately.. it would make sense, look decent and draw "natural" attention to traders; so I have nothing against the idea. But I wouldn't be able...

    2.6 Difficulty Changes

Probably mainly realism; that's at least what I'm getting from it - and can somewhat agree. It wouldn't break progress all that much if certain military loot etc was always a minimum of T1 (T0 being pipes). Say anything POI-T3 and above, military themed, those places shouldn't really hold stone...

Hmm; the depth of what you build doesn't matter. Outside of POIs (with basements and such) every bit of terrain is "solid to bedrock" for SI purposes. Making your own steel pillar down to bedrock does Not change what the topmost block of that pillar can carry to a side. Of course, you may want...

Yeh, ok, that should not collapse, mathematically. Assuming: Columns E and P are solid to bedrock. The blueprint is to scale, your bridge has 10 hanging blocks, plus the six on the side. It MIGHT collapse if X6 or W6 is the last thing you upgrade, as those block need to confer stability through...

    Guaranteed buzzkill

The description is way too vague to say anything about it .. "between 2 2-wide columns" is 4 support faces, that should carry the weight of 40 stone blocks. Or it can mean 12 carrying faces, for 120 blocks, if they go "through" your platform. So, if your hanging load was 40-120 blocks, you will...

    Guaranteed buzzkill

It does; wood is lighter but can carry a lot less weight. Stone can carry more, steel even more. So, this: Should not really happen. Unless the wall your platform hangs off of is still wood? As in: you have a "basic square tower" of wood, and you upgrade the floor inside, from inside. This...

What's the max range we can see a trader flag?

Sounds like an easy thing to test (and potentially necessary to self-test depending on how much settings will affect it ...) Just dm and god mode, fly towards a know trader until it pops in.

    Prefab to RWG?

As the mistake here lead into every instance of the POI getting placed into snow, does that mean that snow is always populated before wasteland; or something similar? Just ... spitballing for completeness, I don't actually need this info .. :D

    Major collapse

We were discussing giving support to a bridge; an aesthetic pursuit in the first place. And I don't think they're any easier for the zeds to break than the "more materialized" alternatives, so that's not really an issue anyway; we're not really looking for invulnerability here. For that there's...

    Armor is too ;)

Do you expect us who dislike magical armor just to stop using using armor altogether; or can we complain about bad design and still utilize it while it exists?

    Major collapse

You're looking at pillars of essentially air blocks, made from blocks accessible to the vanilla player. The dynamically adjusting railing blocks happily adjust themselves out of existence when capped by blocks at the railing sides. This can be turned into an air pillar.

    Major collapse

Pfft, was hoping you'd remember... so I had to check myself :) Image is a bit bad, but From a single block, to two, to three, to four in the vertical, and lastly a sample of a cube placed on top. Each "floating" railing is the top of a pillar of railings, perfectly structurally sound, with...
