I've read in previous versions how to create a new game and copy over the ttk file into my save game.  However, this doesn't seem to work with the new alpha because it will not allow me to reuse my seed.....anyone have any idea how to recover this save game????

I don't understand why anyone would relegate themselves to only one task i.e. killing zombies only or mining only? I'm sure people have their 'thing', but switching roles at some point would seem to keep the juices flowing...imo.

You do get XP no doubt, but you could be mining for an hour and get the same XP of killing one zombie.

Astora is a fantastic seed. The traders are nearly in the middle of the map and here's the best part. There are literally 2 traders facing each other across the street from one another. Very nice.

I'm the guy that will spend 100 hours hitting rocks and enjoying it. Please reward me with more XP. Thank you, TheeRandomHero

My 7D2D settings: 1440p, high everything. My Comp: 7700k oc to 4.8, 960 evo, 1080ti, 32gb @ 3000 Runs: 50-70fps near cities, in most pois -- outdoors varies between 60 and 120 FPS. So, there ya have it. $3k+ PC.

If that's true, it's great to hear. I figured it wasn't where they want it to be, huge relief there. I don't quite understand the 'county' or area switching as i type in my new game seed either. Seems like presets? If so, its not really randomly generated is it? I'm confused by the addition...

Yeah I hear ya. I like the new POIs and all, but I'd still like to get into a city with the old skyscrapers of old. They may be there, somewhere, I just haven't found them yet.

Hello All, I love many of the new additions in A17. I must say, at first, I did not. However, as I've continued to play I have died several times. I can't recall dying in A16 at all. Love the difficulty factor, the zombie intelligence. Anyways, with that out of the way. I feel as though...

stuff n thoughts I really love this game and have my own BlueFang server etc....but I have to say I am pretty well over it and have cancelled my subscription. One things that keeps bugging me when I think about it is Joel's videos on Youtube. They are just thrown together without much thought...
