I’m guessing it is so it doesn’t act like a Zombie Entity when it dies so we can harvest the body like the other animals. But that’s just a guess. I’m on console so can’t fully see the code.
I’ve enjoyed what the storms have added to my game so far. I did drop them to 50% and haven’t spent a lot of time in the biomes that have them yet. On to the desert this weekend.
Spent maybe 2-3 weeks in the burned biome in total and had about 3 storms I remember. 2 doing 10 quests in 10 days...
Playing on the PS5 there is a floppy disk icon with a 7 on it that pops up in the upper left that seems to signify the game is saving. I figure it pops up when it starts and disappears when done. Do y’all not have that on PC?
Well as a solo player with 40 plants (for now) that enjoys running around towns at night hunting/stripping cars like a chicken with its head cut off, stockpiling just naturally occurs.
Master Chef and Living of the Land maxed out first with a few points in Animal Tracker. Want to start stockpiling food as soon as I can so have crates full for when I start my end game big build thing. Then resource gathering and the 2 weapons I chose. Spears and Bows this time.
I was thankfully able to pause the update and log in on PS5 to grab vids of my builds. Not sure if maybe I got lucky as tried right after I saw the update was out.
I’d say I die average amount from a mixed bag of things. Doesn’t bother me and my guy seems to brush it off quite well. Only time I’ve ever felt bad about dying in a video game is if I was out of quarters.
