I am curious how large everyone's base builds are now. I used to make large complexes that would be above and below ground and have bloodmoon horde killing areas. Now i just live in a box until horde night and go to my maze/trap area to ride the night out.
So now instead of exploiting the fact they didn't dig to build underground bases, we should build mazes to exploit the fact that they will just line up for you. How is this any more survival than digging a hole?
This is exactly how I have been feeling. I lost interest already. I have played over 3k hours so I definitely got my money's worth but I think I reached my end. My fault, I was playing the game mostly as a Walking Dead kind of sim and not the shooter it wants to be.
I won't change my review...

I found this quite funny. Agree with some but especially the store page photos and the planned features idea. That stuff should get reviewed and changed after every major update. Marketing 101.
Thing is, this is just the experimental build. They are still tweaking and messing with settings...
I am liking most of it. I would like to see more balancing done with XP and attributes and perks. I love the vehicles and the way they handle now. The new POIs and trader quest are fun. The AI I am not so sure of as yet, I do like how they are smarter about pathing but the damage multipliers...
I agree with the OP. This feels more like Fallout now. The game is still fun and I am enjoying it but I always feel like there is something lacking. Its the building and the fun I had designing bases that were multiple tiers above and below ground. I know we can still do this and that the game...
